No specific inspiration came for this image, just wanted to create a robot in POV-Ray.

Robot Parts

Various robot parts that make up the Robot. The idea is to have a parts library of mechanical parts to contruct creations from.

An earlier version of the robot and friends.

Most of my images do not use image maps, only pure CSG and procedurally generated textures.

Overall, I prefer to use highly complex objects instead of image maps. (Feels like cheating otherwise)

Adding focal blur to an image drastically increases it's realism.

I use a lot of generative procedurial elements in my images.
